Understanding your treatment

Eve Titan combines different forms of stimulation. Radiofrequency delivers heat, while electrical muscle stimulation, or EMS, induces muscle contraction and relaxation. Microcurrent uses a lower electrical stimulus. These sensations and functions differ, so the mode and intensity are selected for the current skin and muscle response.

Radiofrequency

RF applies thermal energy to the skin. The treatment area and heat response guide settings; recently irritated skin or tissue that remains tender after another procedure may need more recovery first.

Electrical muscle stimulation

EMS stimulates contraction and relaxation. Facial movement and the sensation of pulling are observed during treatment. Excessive pulling or discomfort should be reported rather than tolerated.

Microcurrent

A gentler electrical mode is adjusted to sensitivity and treatment time. It is not necessary to use the same mode or intensity across every part of the face.

Planning the change

The programme is considered in relation to firmness and facial movement, with modes selected for a defined purpose. A brief sensation of muscle contraction does not itself establish a lasting lifting result. If other treatments are part of the plan, their sequence should allow the skin to settle. Devices and implanted equipment must be discussed before electrical or RF treatment.

To discuss Eve Titan, arrange a consultation at LACELL Clinic in Bangbae, Seocho-gu, Seoul. Check opening hours, directions and booking options, and share your previous treatments and available recovery time.

Who it may suit

A consultation can help if skin firmness and facial movement are both concerns or you want to understand how electrical stimulation differs from ultrasound or RF alone. Share previous sensitivity to electrical treatments and all implanted-device information.

Your treatment journey

  1. Consultation and assessment. Discuss the main concern, previous treatment and medical history. Agree the expected change and the time available for recovery.
  2. Select and adjust the modes. Review skin sensitivity and facial movement, choose the relevant RF, EMS or microcurrent settings, and monitor heat and muscle response while adjusting intensity and placement.
  3. Immediate review and care instructions. Check the treated area and any discomfort. Confirm the relevant cleansing, activity and contact advice before you leave.
  4. Follow-up and next steps. Review firmness and contour after the early reaction settles. The next treatment is based on remaining laxity, skin condition and recovery; more energy or a fixed repeat schedule is not automatically appropriate.

Recovery & everyday care

Temporary redness, warmth, swelling or tenderness may occur, depending on the device and range. Use gentle cleansing, moisturising and sun protection as instructed. While the skin remains irritated, avoid strong massage, exfoliation and excessive heat such as a sauna. Allow recovery time before important events.

Review firmness and contour after the early reaction settles. The next treatment is based on remaining laxity, skin condition and recovery; more energy or a fixed repeat schedule is not automatically appropriate.

Before treatment & when to contact us

Share the type, area and date of previous filler, threads, laser or surgery. Mention implants, electronic devices, wounds and any altered sensation. Point out thin or hollow areas as well as the areas you want lifted. Medicines, allergies and pregnancy or breastfeeding status are reviewed before treatment.

Contact the clinic for worsening pain, blisters or persistent changes in sensation. Do not wait for the next scheduled visit if a reaction is severe or becoming worse.

Frequently asked questions

How are RF and EMS different?

RF delivers heat to tissue, whereas EMS uses electrical stimulation to induce muscle contraction and relaxation. Their sensations and treatment purposes differ, so they are selected according to the goal.

Can Eve Titan be combined with another lifting procedure?

It may be considered in a wider plan, but persistent heat, pain or irritation from a recent procedure should be assessed before more stimulation. The sequence depends on recovery and the treatment area.

What should I tell the doctor before my visit?

Share the type, area and date of previous filler, threads, laser or surgery. Mention implants, electronic devices, wounds and any altered sensation. Point out thin or hollow areas as well as the areas you want lifted. Medicines, allergies and pregnancy or breastfeeding status are reviewed before treatment.

How are follow-up and further treatment planned?

Review firmness and contour after the early reaction settles. The next treatment is based on remaining laxity, skin condition and recovery; more energy or a fixed repeat schedule is not automatically appropriate.

Which symptoms should prompt me to contact the clinic?

Contact the clinic for worsening pain, blisters or persistent changes in sensation. Do not wait for the next scheduled visit if a reaction is severe or becoming worse.
